KING’S College would like to celebrate Year 12 student Georgina Ellis (above) for her achievemen­t in various horse riding competitio­ns.

Miss Ellis, currently studying a Cert III in Retail Baking at the Trade Training College, began horse riding at the age of four, starting her competitiv­e training at just 13years-old.

She and her two horses, Rosie and Ruby, have been winning big at some prestigiou­s events in the last year, including the Brisbane Royal Show and the Toowoomba Royal Show.

At the recent Mudgeeraba Show, two days of competing saw her take home 16 different awards, among them 1st Smartest on Parade Galloway and 1st Intermedia­te Show Hunter.

King’s College wishes her the best of luck both with her horse riding and her schoolwork.
