Bike rider disqualified

-

A MOTORBIKE rider has been reminded that “road rules are not optional” after he was caught on his bike with a disqualified licence.

It was the second time John Michael Wynne lost his licence due to demerit points.

Magistrate John Costanzo fined him $700 and disqualified him from holding a licence for six months.

“Most people in the community never lose all their points once in their whole life,” Mr Costanzo said.

“You need to do something about your driving.

“The road rules are not optional.”

Wynne told police he was unaware his licence had been suspended.
