FRESHWATER: Hinze Dam producing occasional bass. River scene still quiet, however as it starts to warm up bass will start to move back into the upper reaches. Bream, flathead and jewfish are all still active throughout the rivers.

BROADWATER: Jewfish, snapper, bream and flathead all in the Seaway, as well as tailor and trevally east of Sovereign Islands, west of Sea World. From Bayview Harbour to Paradise Point along the foreshore, flathead still being caught despite cold weather.

OFFSHORE: Snapper still the most common catch, from the close reefs and out as far as 50 fathoms. Best caught on sunrise and just before sunset.
