Assange assylum doubt

WIKILEAKS founder Julian Assange remains barricaded in London’s Ecuadorean embassy as speculation mounts he could lose his asylum.

The Australian citizen has been holed up there since 2012, amid fears the US would prosecute him over the release of highly confidential documents.

Tasmanian barrister Greg Barnes said speculation over Mr Assange’s future had grown ahead of Ecuadorean President Lenin Moreno’s trip to London this week for a disability summit. government
