The annual Mermaid Beach Surf Club Race Day fundraiser was so well attended that the assembled guests had to relocate to a larger venue

NOTHING succeeds like success and the annual Mermaid Beach AEMA SLSC Surf and Turf race day is a perfect example. With more than 400 attendees registered for the day, the decision was made to move to the much larger events centre at Aquis Park GCTC to cater for the crowd. Of course, the fun and frivolity was for the best of causes, raising money for the purchase of much needed life saving equipment for the club.
