Gold Coast AFL stalwarts the Broadbeach Cats held a spectacula­r gala ball at The Star, where 200 guests dressed to the nines and celebrated the club BROADBEACH CATS AFC GALA BALL The Star Gold Coast

THE Cats are back. To be precise the Broadbeach Cats Australian Football Club and the “back” part refers to the return of their annual gala ball. On Saturday night about 200 supporters gathered at The Star Gold Coast for a black-tie glamour event to celebrate this year of the Cats and all that it stands for in the local sporting community. The club, founded in 1971, has played an integral part in the developmen­t of Aussie rules on the Gold Coast.
