A hole lot to talk about
AN ace to Parkwood International Golf Club’s Michael Tomlinson was the highlight of the second day of competition at the Gold Coast Men’s Senior Amateur Championships.
Played at Lakelands on the opening day on Wednesday, action switched to The Glades yesterday, with Tomlinson’s hole in one stealing the show.
Playing off a handicap of 15, 71-year-old Tomlinson shot a gross of 96 – including his ace.
It’s a tight field across the four divisions (55-59, 60-61, 65-69 and 70 and over) heading into today’s third and final round at Links Hope Island.
