REALLY MAKING A MEAL OF IT

IT’S not every day that you meet a couple who have been responsible for donating almost 600,000 meals to people in need. Scott and Shae Chapman (above) own multiple Zambrero restaurants on the Gold Coast and on Wednesday night were awarded the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Award for July at the monthly Gold Coast Business Awards. It was there that the astonishing donated meal number was revealed. “It is a part of what Zambrero do around the world and locally we have donated those meals through our Plate 4 Plate program and our work with Food Bank or Rise Against Hunger,” explained Scott.
