BROADBEACH United have all but secured top in the Gold Coast Women’s Premier League after stretching their perfect record to 12 games against Coomera on Saturday.

The 3-0 victory at Viney Park took the Dolphins to 36 points, 11 clear of secondplaced Southport, who can only finish with a maximum of 37 points.

The Warriors played out a 1-1 draw away to Robina City in Saturday’s other fixture, while Musgrave had a bye.

In Round 3, Southport host Coomera at 4pm next Saturday before Musgrave travel to Broadbeach at 3pm on Sunday.
