Have a say on sport

THE Palaszczuk Government is calling on Gold Coasters to have their say about the future of sport in Queensland.

Sports Minister Mick de Brenni has launched a public consultation, saying he wants to hear what Queensland is doing well and what can be done better to make sport more accessible, fair and fun.

Mr de Brenni said the Sport and Active Recreation Strategy would see evidence-based, strategic investment to get people moving and create jobs.

“The strategy will cover sport in Queensland from top to bottom” Mr de Brenni said.
