Insta-bikies step up social media war

A FRESH social media war has erupted on the Gold Coast, escalating tensions among the so-called “Insta-bikies”.

In the latest skirmish, alleged Villains member Harley Barbaro took a shot at former Hells Angel Ben Geppert on Instagram, labelling him “a dog”. Barbaro let rip during an Instagram rant at the weekend.

“BEN F---ING GEPPERT IM CALLING YOU OUT U MAGGOT DOG,” he posted.

“You pulled up on me and I told u to jump out and fight like a man and u drove of (sic).

“Anytime anyplace u have my word I’ll be there.”

Geppert, fresh from a social media slanging match with exBandidos Brett “Kaos” Pechey, does not appear to have responded. It is unclear what triggered the latest beef; however, Barbaro accused Geppert of bringing his “dead brothers into it”. Barbaro’s older brother

Harley Barbaro, 25, is currently facing Queensland’s first anti-consorting charges, with police alleging he’s a member of the bikie feeder group the Villains.

Geppert was handed a recent six-month suspended sentence for drug possession and other charges.
