Small, mid-period S groundswel­l builds in. Around 2 to 3ft northern NSW exposed areas, wrapping at 1 to 2ft at exposed Gold Coast beaches, otherwise near-flat on the open coasts and inside the points. WIND: Early W 5 to 15 knots tending light and variable, light N to NE later.

TOMORROW

S swell slowly eases. Sets around 2 to 3ft northern NSW south facing beaches early, fading during the day. Grading to a slow 1 to 2ft at best along exposed QLD beaches and grading to near-flat inside the points and bays. WIND: Early WSW at 5 to 10 knots tending light and variable in the afternoon.

THURSDAY

Small S swell up to 2ft exposed northern NSW coasts. Wrapping into southern QLD exposed breaks at 1ft or less and grading to flat inside the points and bays. WIND: WSW 5 to 10 knots tending variable, then to light sea-breezes during the afternoon.
