Betoota to the Coast
THE cheekiest blokes in media will be on the Gold Coast in November.
Betoota Advocate boys “Clancy Overall” and “Erroll Parker” are headed around the country on their first live tour, stopping in at NightQuarter on November 9.
The Betoota Advocate is a satirical newspaper created in 2014 by former journalists Archer Hamilton and Charles Single. They take current and ongoing news issues and put a sarcastic, comedic spin on it.
Primarily the newspaper exists in an online space, with a combined social following of close to one million people.
The show will also be a first for NightQuarter, who will turn The Paddock into a 1000seat venue for the first time.
NightQuarter director Michelle Christoe said the new configuration meant the venue could host other events more suited to a seated venue, offering such acts a place to perform on the Gold Coast.
The Betoota Advocate show plays the NightQuarter on November 9. Tickets from nightquarter.com.au.
