HALL HANGS UP SADDLE
ON-GOING hip problems have caused dual Caulfield Cup-winning jockey Nick Hall to retire.
Amazingly Hall only had 31 rides after he won the 2016 Caulfield Cup on Jameka as he rode intermittently due to his hip problems. In 2017 he took a year off and came back for three rides in March this year at Mornington.
But after more hip problems Hall, who won nine Group 1 races, retired.
