Todd McKenney a ‘selfish, lying idiot’, says his sister

TODD McKenney’s sister has lashed out at the entertainer, labelling him a “douche bag” and a “lying idiot”, after he said he had dated her husband before they were married.

Former Dancing With The Stars judge McKenney this week declared he was “sick of not talking about” the family secret – that he had dated fellow performer Simon Gallaher, who is now his brother-in-law of 31 years.

His sister Lisa Gallaher, who lives on the Gold Coast Hinterland, took to social media in response, writing: “... my brother is being a douche bag. We all have to just duck the fallout now. Selfish lying idiot.”

This week, McKenney revealed during a podcast interview that he and Gallaher dated when they were in Pirates Of Penzance.

“She married my exboyfriend and is still married to my ex-boyfriend ... It’s weird isn’t it? I don’t think I’ve ever spoken about it publicly,” he said.
