Gold Coast Bulletin shortlisted for News Awards

THE Gold Coast Bulletin has been named a finalist in the 2018 News Awards.

The competition is run internally by News Corp to celebrate the brilliant stories, features, images, cartoons, headlines and columns the company’s many mastheads produce every day.

The Bulletin was shortlisted for the Achievements in Regional Journalism category, along with The Gympie Times and Townsville Bulletin.

The nomination was the result of the Bulletin’s hard work across many different areas, including the recent Golden Age campaign and coverage of the Commonwealth Games.

The winners will be announced on August 15.

Earlier this month the Bulletin was also named a finalist in the News Media Awards, across several categories including Best Subscriber Aquisition Campaign and Regional News Brand of the Year. Winners will be announced in September in Sydney
