World’s deadliest catch

A MAGNET fisherman in the UK was astonished to reel in a sub-machine gun from a quiet north London waterway.

Gareth Bryer, 36, whose hobby involves using a powerful magnet to find submerged metal items, landed the MAC-10 at Enfield Lock as well as an ammunition magazine and a knife.

He said armed officers were on the scene within four minutes to retrieve the gun.
