TOM Tate would welcome I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here to the Gold Coast if Tweed Shire councillors refuse to buckle in a dispute with production company Granada over traffic on a rural road.
Tweed councillors will decide tonight whether to negotiate with Granada about increasing the number of vehicles that can visit the reality TV set each day and whether to hit it with another fine. The council alleges Granada breached an 80-a-day limit 27 times during the past year.
The council has dished out one $6000 fine and as it prepares to hand out another, Granada has warned if the limit is not increased it will relocate.
