Cancer patient targeted by thieves

TWEED police are searching for two people who stole important items from a cancer patient last week.

The woman was closing her pop-up store at a Tweed Heads shopping centre about 4pm on July 28 when bags containing her diabetic insulin, mobile phone, laptop computer, keys, personal paperwork and other items were snatched. It is understood the woman was recently diagnosed with cancer and is working multiple jobs to make ends meet.
