WE LOOK MORE RACY, OF COURSE

-

WITH spring racing just around the corner, we asked Jennifer Bartels, co-founder of Women in Racing, to explain the differences between race wear here and in jolly old England. “The main thing in England is elegance is the key and rules are strictly adhered to. Spaghetti straps, bare midriffs, and exposed shoulders are forbidden. Quality fabrics are all in vogue as are clutch bags. Here it is more about colour, flamboyance and gimmicks. We are much more relaxed about the total look. It is a bit more nightclub than turf club as we go to the races to relax and have fun.” Get ready to frock up.
