Bears re-sign halfback
BURLEIGH have secured another key piece in the puzzle for their 2019 Intrust Super Cup roster.
Halfback Jamal Fogarty has agreed to terms for a new twoyear contract extension that will take his tenure at the Bears to five seasons.
The 24-year-old co-captained the club to a premiership two years ago, following which he signed with Parramatta as he hunted an NRL opportunity. His top grade debut did arrive last year but it was via the Titans after a midseason switch.
The news on Fogarty’s future follows Luke Page and Pat Politoni agreeing to stay at Pizzey Park for another 12 months.
