A NIGHT FIT FOR HEALTH’S HEROES
HOSPITAL heroes will change out of their scrubs tomorrow night and into ball gowns and black tie in the name of charity.
This year’s Hollywoodthemed Hospital Heroes Ball will celebrate all those involved in reducing medical hardships in the community — doctors, nurses, staff, donors and volunteers.
Gold Coast Hospital Foundation CEO Kim Sutton said the annual ball, being held at Southport Sharks, was one of the Gold Coast’s biggest fundraising events of the year.
“It takes a community to help unwell, injured or disabled people,” she said.
“Money raised from the night will go towards health research.”
Tickets are still available from gchfoundation.org.au or at the door. The ball begins at 6.30pm with predinner cocktails.
