Titans rule out Norman
TITANS co-owner Darryl Kelly has put a line through signing Corey Norman, declaring the unwanted Parramatta playmaker did not fit the Gold Coast’s “culture”.
Norman, 27, has been linked with a move to the Gold Coast after meeting with Titans coach Garth Brennan.
The Eels are looking to offload the enigmatic five-eighth and will release him to join another club if he can secure a deal elsewhere. Norman, who will tackle the Titans at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium tomorrow, is a Gold Coast product.
Brennan had entertained signing the talented playmaker to partner halfback Ash Taylor next season after declining to offer Kane Elgey a new deal.
“He’s not the right fit for the culture of our club,” Kelly told the Bulletin.
“It’s not what we’re trying to build.”
