Iggy nudes up to push EP
MURWILLUMBAH rapper Iggy Azalea is baring all in the name of her art.
The controversial musician, who is no stranger to showing a little skin, released a series of three photographs to promote her just-released new six-song EP Survive The Summer.
Azalea is wearing nothing but a pair of heels and carrying a large handbag in the images, which she uploaded to her Instagram account. Azalea wrote, “S.T.S is out ahhhhhhh !!!!!! ” beside the racy photos.
On her EP – which comes four years after her last album – Azalea references her alleged plastic surgery in a track titled Hey Iggy and talks about her wealth, rapping: “I used to get the chicken fingers but now I get the lobster.”
Early reviews for the EP are good – but not raves. “The six tracks on this EP have the best production that money can buy: woozy, narcotic, digitally surreal, vast in scale, perfect for heatwave listening ... in basic creative terms of the ingredients that make it up, this is not a bad record,” The Arts Desk wrote. But Vulture.com said: “It doesn’t stand out in the crop of amazing short projects this year.”
