I HAVE

-

just been reading in your paper about someone maiming a baby.

This sort of thing is happening far too often. When are the powers that be going to bite the bullet and stop paying people to have babies?

In some cases, as we know, this is a money-making exercise, and the money is spent on all the wrong things and not the baby.

And don’t say we are not aware of this!

If you can’t afford to keep a baby, then you should not be having one. I’ll bet if the funding stopped a lot of people would not be so keen to reproduce.

No politician is brave enough to do anything about this as they are only interested in keeping in everyone’s good books.

It is always being asked what we can do about this problem. Well I’m not the first one to make this suggestion.

Stop funding people to have babies and you will find they aren’t so keen to have them if they have to support them themselves.

In our time we reared our children without hand-outs and that’s how it should be. It’s a choice.
