Green light for Colour
JOCKEY Anthony Allen says Colour Of Money is working back to his best again after losing some of the edge going into his newest preparation.
Allen rode the Chris Anderson-trained seven-year-old to victory in Saturday’s Class 4 (1800m) at the Gold Coast to deliver the first success so far of a three-run preparation.
“I ride him in work and he is starting to finally do a bit of nice work,” Allen said. “I won on him in his last preparation in Caloundra and he is finally getting back to that level now. He is feeling good. He winds up at the 600m. The tempo was a bit slow (on Saturday) but it was a good run.”
