THE Wallabies’ iGeneration has finally answered the call.

For the first time, someone born in the new millennium has been picked in the Wallabies squad just as things are beginning to look up for the team.

That someone is Jordan Petaia, the prodigiously talented outside back from Queensland who is being tipped for great things.

Still only 18 and having just completed his rookie season in Super Rugby, he’s been named in the train-on squad for the Rugby Championship after convincing a sceptical Michael Cheika that he might have what it takes.

“I’m not into the headline for him and for his own benefit,” Cheika said. “He’s earnt a chance to be with the squad and get a taste of it.”
