BOOTCAMP FOR IDEAS

- BRIANNA MORRIS-GRANT AND PEYTON HUTCHINS

IF you have big ideas but no idea how to get started, Bond University has a new bootcamp designed to whip ideas into shape.

The camp is a high-energy, one-day business symposium designed exclusively for nextgen corporate adventurers in Year 11 or 12 who are dreaming of a career as successful entrepreneurs.

Gold Coast start-up success story Samantha Davies – founder of Unforgettable Proposals, a company that helps hopeful husbands bring together the perfect wedding proposal – will be joined by an impressive panel of young businesspeople at this year’s Bond University Ideas Camp.

Samantha, a Bond University alumna, said she was excited to share her experience of building her proposal business from start-up to success story at this year’s Ideas Camp.

“With the vast growth in start-ups around the world, I’ve always believed education institutions should have entrepreneurship as a hot topic and it’s great to see Bond University leading the way,” she said.

The free event starts tomorrow, with registration open until midnight tonight.
