Zarraffa’s triple shot puts franchise pair on a high

THE booming north is proving an apt descriptio­n for the Coomera-Pimpama growth corridor for Zarraffa’s Coffee franchisee­s Bruce Fullerton and Elissa Hutton.

The brother and sister business partners, who opened their first Zarraffa’s franchise in Upper Coomera in 2007, have this year added a third store at Pimpama City.

“When we opened at Upper Coomera there was nothing around us but horse properties and open space, and it’s much the same at Pimpama – although that is changing fast,” Mr Fullerton said.

Pimpama City, on an 18ha site on Pimpama-Jacobs Well Rd, is being developed by Rix Developmen­ts with the shopping centre scheduled to open next month.

A small section – including Zarraffa’s – is up and running, with reports of brisk trade.

Mr Fullerton and Ms Hutton set themselves a goal of opening a second store in 10 years after kicking off their business partnershi­p at Upper Coomera in 2007.
