Zarraffa’s triple shot puts franchise pair on a high
THE booming north is proving an apt description for the Coomera-Pimpama growth corridor for Zarraffa’s Coffee franchisees Bruce Fullerton and Elissa Hutton.
The brother and sister business partners, who opened their first Zarraffa’s franchise in Upper Coomera in 2007, have this year added a third store at Pimpama City.
“When we opened at Upper Coomera there was nothing around us but horse properties and open space, and it’s much the same at Pimpama – although that is changing fast,” Mr Fullerton said.
Pimpama City, on an 18ha site on Pimpama-Jacobs Well Rd, is being developed by Rix Developments with the shopping centre scheduled to open next month.
A small section – including Zarraffa’s – is up and running, with reports of brisk trade.
Mr Fullerton and Ms Hutton set themselves a goal of opening a second store in 10 years after kicking off their business partnership at Upper Coomera in 2007.
The goal was pegged to revenue targets, which they achieved in just three years, leading to their second store opening at Riverlakes in Cor-
