The Gold Coast Bulletin

BARROWFUL OF PRIZES FOR GREEN THUMBS

- BRIANNA MORRIS-GRANT

IF you dig gardening, you’re going to love our latest competition.

Starting this Saturday, the Bulletin is putting out a call to find the best gardens on the Gold Coast.

Co-owner of Upper Coomera Landscape Supplies and competition judge Amanda Burrett said there was no need to be a master gardener or landscaping prodigy to win big. “We’re looking for innovation, the use of lots of natural materials, different ideas and obviously how attractive and functional it is,” she said.

“I’ve seen home gardeners do a lot of amazing things, so it’s not just people who can get a landscaper in, we get a lot of customers come in and show us their DIYs and they look amazing.”

First prize gets a $500 gift voucher to Upper Coomera Landscape Supplies.

There’s a $250 voucher for second place and a $100 voucher for third.

To submit your entry and for full terms and conditions, visit goldcoastbulletin. com.au/ competitions. Entries open at 9am this Saturday and close at 11.59pm on August 18.
