Watts held after court

FORMER NRL bad boy Anthony Watts has landed himself in hot water yet again after being arrested following a court appearance.

Watts had fronted Southport Magistrates Court yesterday morning for a brief mention of charges relating to an alleged assault at a wedding in September 2016.

After the matter was adjourned to next month, police officers took Watts into custody.

It is alleged the ex-Mongols bikie threatened a man believed to be the ex-boyfriend of Watts’ current girlfriend.

Watts spent about an hour in the watch-house before being released on bail.
