SOUTHPORT — STEALING

A MAN allegedly put a $66 bottle of whiskey in the waistband of his shorts at a Ferry Rd, Southport, liquor store on June 20.

Around 5.30pm, the man then took two bottles of cola off the shelf, paid for them, and left. It is alleged the man did not try to pay for the whiskey.

Police would like to speak to this man pictured. He is described as caucasian, in his 40s, of proportion­ate build and with brown hair. He wore work boots, a light blue zip-up hooded jumper and dark blue shorts. Reference: QP18011413­65 SURFERS PARADISE — STEALING

POLICE would like to speak to three men and a woman about the theft of items from a Surfers Paradise basement.

Police allege three people gained entry to the Admiralty Dve complex about 10pm on July 20.

Golf clubs, keys, a surfboard and tools were taken. The items were put into a car allegedly stolen from the driveway of a Gideon Gardens home in Pimpama about 12.55pm earlier that day. The stolen car is described as a white 2011 Toyota Hilux ute. Reference: QP18013362­20

BURLEIGH WATERS — STEALING

MORE than $250 worth of tools were taken from a hardware store at Burleigh Waters.

About 6.50pm on July 4 at Bermuda St, two people placed a number of tools into a shopping trolley before removing them from the packaging. The opened tools were then placed into a handbag. One person left the shop with the items while the other paid for a small, inexpensiv­e item.

Police would like to speak to a man described as caucasian, 185cm tall, of a muscular build and with a home cut and styled mohawk. He was wearing a dark bomber jacket, jeans and dark sneakers. The woman is described as caucasian, of a slim build, 165cm tall with long blonde hair. She wore a black jacket with blue jeans and white sneakers and walked with a distinctiv­e gait, as if she was injured. Reference: QP18012302­86
