Shooting info sought

-

POLICE are appealing for information relating to an alleged mistaken identity shooting at Carrara earlier this year.

Gold Coast detectives at the centre of the investigation are looking for a green 2003 Daewoo Carlos hatch believed to be linked to the case.

Investigators believe the car was carrying three men, and driven by a woman. One of the men and the woman attended a Plateau Cres address in the vehicle with Queensland registration KIM 891 around 4pm on January 8.

The victim held the door shut and as he did, the gunman discharged a round through thedoor, seriously injuring the man.

The woman in question was found on the Sunshine Coast on August 2, has been charged and will appear in Court on September 20 but has refused to co-operate with police.
