EISTEDDFOD VOLUNTEERS ARE ON SONG

-

HATS off to Judith Ferber, Nicci Wilson and more than 100 volunteers who are smack bang in the middle of the 37th Gold Coast Eisteddfod.

Each night they are giving up hours of their time, enabling up to 70,000 students to perform in music, drama and dance during the two-month event at the Gold Coast Home of the Arts and Robina Community Centre.

The Coast is home to Australia’s biggest eisteddfod, which has been the launch pad for numerous stars including Sophie Monk and Moulin Rouge dancer Megan Chadwick.

Just ask Jude and Nicci. They have lost count of the eisteddfod hopefuls who graduated to TV talent shows or built careers as cruise ship performers.
