GAMES LAST FAREWELL

THE last of the staffers at GOLDOC are leaving including veteran graphic designer Bill Key who takes off next Tuesday after six years designing Games collateral.

The Coast artist was responsible for every sign, street banner and brochure and co-ordinated the “look” of the venues.

From a 1500 workforce at Ashmore TAFE the numbers are now down to 15 with the campus taking back its buildings along with its tuckshop menu.

Gone are the “healthy choices” items and in their place some sturdy options — pies and sausage rolls to keep the tradies well fed.
