66km/h over limit
A MOTORBIKE rider has been nabbed travelling more than 60km/h the speed limit on a busy suburban road.
Police saw the man overtake a car in a 60km/h zone on Musgrave Avenue, Labrador, at 5.15pm on Wednesday. He was clocked at 126km/h. The 28-year-old Southport man received a $1218 fine, sixmonth suspension and the loss of eight demerit points.
Police urged motorists to consider the dangers of speeding in built-up areas and said they would continue to target dangerous road users.
