She’ll be apples: Hobart-GC flights set to return

GOLD Coasters after a taste of Tasmania will be able to fly directly to Hobart year-round.

Tigerair Australia will resume its Gold Coast-Hobart route as a permanent service from October 30.

Visitors from the Apple Isle are expected to boost visitor numbers to the city due to the direct flights. Tiger has announced a sale fare to celebrate the route offering oneway flights from $69.95.

Tigerair will operate three flights per week – Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving on the Gold Coast at 10.30am and then returning to Hobart.
