Sour times for suspect

NORTH Carolina authorities have arrested a suspect they say robbed a nine-year-old lemonade vendor of $US17 at gunpoint, an incident that led to more than $US200 in donations to the victim.

Detectives obtained security camera footage that showed a person who matched the suspect’s description and was close to the robbery scene.

The juvenile, who cannot be identified under state laws, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
