Women’s sevens aid
A LUNCHEON will be held today to raise funds for women’s rugby sevens on the Gold Coast.
About 30 businesspeople plus guests including player Millie Boyle and Bond University director of rugby Luca Liussi – an ex-Australian sevens team manager – will attend the 12.30pm kick-off at Mantra on View.
“We need infrastructure for our women’s sevens and that includes everything from more referees to marquees to balls to markers,” Coast rugby boss Kim Bending said.
