Next wave for Bond

BOND Pirates have shown off their up-and-coming talent by claiming an under-15 win over an English touring side.

Having raised funds for many years to make an Australian trip possible, Leigh Dragons headed to Pizzey Park but were unable to overcome the hosts.

The Pirates took the honours 14-12.

The Dragons also played games against Brisbane Souths, GPS and Redcliffe after a first-up match against Palm Beach Currumbin.
