Tigers hit top gears
RICHMOND’S dream injury run is continuing, with the Tigers on track to have every one of their best 22 available for AFL selection next week.
The reigning premiers’ injury list has been slashed this week, with premiership quartet Dion Prestia
(ribs), Nathan
Broad (calf soreness), Bachar
Houli (groin, pictured) and Jack Graham (shoulder) all given the green light to play.
Reece Conca will make his return from a dislocated ankle he sustained in Round 15 through the VFL this weekend, while Daniel Butler (ankle) was still restricted to running laps at training yesterday but is considered a chance to be available for selection next week.
Richmond have five players who have played 25 or more consecutive games – Alex Rance (59 matches), Kane Lambert (43), Toby Nankervis (37), Shane Edwards (37) and Jack Riewoldt (25).
Fellow premiership stars Trent Cotchin, Dustin Martin, David Astbury, Dylan Grimes and Josh Caddy have missed only five games through injury between them since Round 1 last year.
