The Burleigh Night Markets have popped out of their normal spot for a cheeky bevy at the Burleigh Town Tavern. Head to the pub from 5pm to enjoy all the usual suspects — beer, cocktails, food trucks, shopping and live music.

Whatever plans you had for Saturday, cancel them — a cob loaf festival is coming to the Gold Coast. From 4pm, NightQuart­er will host the celebratio­n of the cob with a variety of crusty, creamy goodness. Dip your heart out to cheesy cobs, breakfast cobs, dessert cobs, seafood cobs, mini cobs and more. Entry to NightQuart­er is $3.
