Tom Cruise reprises his role as Ethan Hunt in

Mission: Impossible — Fallout.

Filled with car chases, epic fight sequences, and Simon Pegg in various rubber masks, the latest Mission: Impossible flick delivers plenty of action with a decent storyline to boot.

Don’t fret if you haven’t seen the five previous Mission: Impossible instalments as there is plenty of exposition throughout the film that will get you up to speed without breaking a sweat.

Plagued by both an old and new nemesis, Ethan Hunt leads his IMF team in a (you guessed it) mission to find stolen plutonium before it’s too late!

Despite the film’s relatively predictable plot,

Fallout revels in its status as an adrenaline-filled action movie and delivers some strong individual performances.

Simon Pegg provides a seamless comedic element to the film while Sean Harris slides back into his bad-guy persona with ease.

Although there aren’t enough scenes with the delightfully savage Angela Bassett, Henry Cavill gives a charismatic performance as CIA agent August Walker.

For those who are chasing an adrenaline rush with a side of Tom Cruise, this is the film for you.
