A DAY without science is a day wasted, at least it is this week as National Science Week 2018 kicks off.

From the classroom to the laboratory, thousands will this week be taking part in hundreds of science events planned across Australia.

And libraries around the Gold Coast are making sure we don’t miss out on the fun – all this week you have the chance to meet scientists, try out hands-on workshops and explore new technologies.
