Score share of funding
GOLD Coast rugby league clubs can apply to share in $1.27 million in dollar-for-dollar funding to upgrade sporting grounds.
Clubs can apply for funding between $200,001 and $300,000 through an initiative called the Queensland Footy Facilities Fund, thanks to National and Queensland Rugby League associations and the Queensland Government.
The grants will cover half the costs associated with a project, and the club must match the value with their own reserves. Visit qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/footyfacilities for applications, which close on October 12.
