Grants for volunteers

COMMUNITY organisations on the southern Gold Coast are being encouraged to apply for a grant of up to $5000 to help the work of their volunteers.

Member for McPherson Karen Andrews said the money was being provided under a new $20 million round of the Coalition’s Volunteer Grants.

“This is a great opportunity for not-for-profit organisations to secure funding of between $1000 and $5000 to help make the work of their volunteers easier, safer and more enjoyable,” Mrs Andrews said.
