Compliance blitz

TWEED/BYRON police officers have issued dozens of infringement notices during a targeted operation in northern NSW.

The Compliance 3 Traffic Operation, which was held statewide, targeted restraints, mobile phone offences and car standards.

During August 8 and 9, officers issued 15 fines for seat belt restraint offences, 11 for mobile phone offences and 14 for vehicle standard offences.
