LIKE MOTHER, LIKE DAUGHTER

TO borrow from the 1998 song made famous by Shirley Bassey, this is just a little bit of history repeating. At the Gold Coast District Law Association lunch, Mia Behlau (above) was announced as the new president. Those who remember the wildly colourful Kerry Smith and her career as a councillor and solicitor, Mia is the daughter of Kerry and her then-husband Clinton. The history part is that way back when, Kerry (Salinger as she is now) also filled the role of president of GCDLA. Knowing them both we’re sure that Mia will not be creating headlines nor driving a polka dotted Fiat Bambino around town.
