FISHING

STRADBROKE ISLAND: Fish all beaches for tailer, dart, whiting and tarwhine. JUMPINPIN: Sand whiting in Fisherman’s Channel, flathead in Tiger Mullet Channel, tailor inside the Pin Bar and along Tabby Tabby Island. SOUTHPORT: Amberjack and yellowtail king on the 50s SE of Southport, snapper on the 36s, snapper, cobia and Spanish mackerel on the 24s, tailor at dusk along the beaches.

CURRUMBIN: Snapper and yellowtail king at Tweed 9 Mile, mack tuna and bonito on Palm Beach Reef, flathead in the low tide gutters along the beaches, flathead and whiting in the lower reaches of Currumbin.

TWEED COAST: Snapper and tuskfish on the 24s and 36s, dart, whiting and chopper tailor along the beaches, chopper tailor along the rock walls at the Tweed River mouth.
