Large S swell holds good size all day. Solid 6 to 8ft across northern NSW south facing coasts, while ranging anywhere from 3 to 6ft+ along open beaches. Wrapping at 3 to 4ft+ exposed southern Qld beaches, grading to 1 to 3ft elsewhere. WIND: Early WSW to SW tending SSW 15 to 25 knots, steadily easing and tending light and variable in the afternoon.

TOMORROW

Easing S swell. Speculativ­ely 4 to 6ft northern NSW south facing coasts. Wrapping at 2 to 4ft exposed southern Qld beaches, grading to 1 to 3ft elsewhere. WIND: Early WSW to SSW 5 to 15 knots tending light SSE.

THURSDAY

S and SSE swells up to 3 to 5ft northern NSW southern exposures, ranging from 2 to 4ft along open beaches with size depending on exposure. Wrapping at 1 to 3ft exposed southern Qld beaches, grading to 1 to 2ft inside the points and bays. WIND: Early SW to SSW, tending S to SE 10 to 15 knots, then SE to ESE 5 to 15 knots later.
